While nursing a broken heart in an upscale London cocktail bar, Courtney’s eyes landed on a bottle of El Dorado rum. This Guyanese spirit held deep emotional significance related to her recent breakup. What happened next shocked both her and the bartender. The mystery deepened when, upon leaving the bar, she encountered a street musician playing “Three Little Birds”—their song. Telekinesis? Manifestation? Or something else entirely?

About the Guest: Dr. Courtney Craig
In this episode of Homespun Haints, Becky and Diana welcomed their longtime friend Courtney, who joined them from, Munich, Germany. This reunion was particularly special as Courtney was the mutual connection who originally brought the hosts together years ago in Florida.
In her day job, Dr. Courtney Craig is an expert chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) nutritionist. By night, she is working on an exciting new venture: opening Frau Bar, Munich’s only bar dedicated to the FLINTA community (women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, transgender, and agender individuals).

Show Notes: Manifesting in Bars All Over Europe
Throughout the episode, a thread emerged connecting Courtney’s unexplainable experiences with her life’s trajectory. From the telekinesis incident in a London bar to now opening her own bar in Munich, she seems to be following a pattern of manifestation—turning emotional energy into her tangible reality. Courtney has repeatedly manifested significant life changes: learning German, moving to another country as a solo female, establishing a community of over a thousand queer women, and now creating a safe community space for those who lack one.

What is Frau Bar?
Frau: A FLINTA Bar will be Munich’s first and only dedicated bar for queer women—a vibrant, inclusive space for FLINTA* individuals to connect, unwind, and celebrate community. More than just a bar, Frau is a social hub where you can meet like-minded people, attend queer events, and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere that truly feels like home.
Frau Bar will serve the community in a way that sounds like a delicious mixture of Cubbyhole, Cheers, and The Planet; as a café and bar hosting regular meetups, women’s sports screenings, and international queer events in a space designed for visibility, connection, and belonging. The German acronym FLINTA describes a spectrum of gender identities that have something to do with minority genders or the female experience. It stands for Frauen, Lesben, Intergeschlechtliche, Nicht-binäre, Trans, and Agender.
If you’re in Munich, we hope you drop by Frau-A FLINTA Bar and order our signature Homespun Haints–sponsored cocktail: the Have a Spooky Day!
